James is originally from New York City. After graduating from Brooklyn College in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and obtaining his Certified Public Accountant's license, he served as a Tax Auditor for the State of New York. In 1994, James moved to Owings Mills and joined the staff of Catholic Relief Services, a large multinational non-profit organization, where he was an accounting manager. James joined Naiman & Associates in May 1997. He is actively involved in business and individual income tax preparation, financial and tax planning, as well as the day-to-day accounting for many of our clients. James is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and serves as Chairman of the Taneytown Zoning Board of Appeals.
